Traffic and Parking Study
> Summary

A comprehensive study was conducted in 2002 to examine the short, medium and long-term traffic and parking dynamics in the City of Duncan. The City has already acted on a number of the study's recommendations, including installing 15-minute ('short stop') parking and more disabled parking throughout the downtown core. In addition the City has established a Parking Advisory Committee made up of community representatives to assist with implementing the balance of the study's recommendations. Feel free to contact City Hall to arrange to view the full report.

Revitalization Action Plan
This report was prepared in 2002 by the Downtown Neighbourhood Revitalization Committee. This committee was made up of a broad range of community experts including planners, designers, architects, engineers, artists and business-people. Duncan City Council embraced the findings of this report and developed an Implementation Plan in 2004 that prioritizes the revitalization projects outlined in the Action Plan, and identifies costs and potential partners. Contact City Hall to request a copy of the Implementation Plan.
